Moon Café
Aliens roast humanity. On a tiny stage on the Moon, visitors from across the galaxy tell us what they really think of us – a comedy mirror for our own quirks.
Rusch Meyer – AI-powered director

I write and direct series, TV formats, documentaries and branded content – with AI at the cutting edge. My work explores how the digital shapes our culture, our emotions and the way we live together.
AI has changed the way I make films – and it is transforming the entire creative industry. I work with the newest models as soon as they are released and build agentic workflows around them, so every project gets the best tool for the job. Combined with years of experience as a storyteller, that puts me in a rare position: I understand both the technology and what makes a story work.
“Photography is a camera for what is. AI is a camera for what isn’t.”
Claire Silver
I’ve been working as a director for around 20 years – on documentaries, TV formats, series and branded content, including a lot of food videos along the way. What drives me hasn’t changed: bringing a vision to life, on any screen, with images that move people.
“No form of art goes beyond ordinary consciousness as film does, straight to our emotions, deep into the twilight room of the soul.”
Ingmar Bergman
I hold an MA in Serial Storytelling from the ifs internationale filmschule köln, where I trained in the American writers’ room method – and I still love writing as part of a team. I write pitch papers and series bibles, develop formats and write scripts for documentary and fiction.
“The real problem of humanity is the following: we have Paleolithic emotions, medieval institutions, and god-like technology.”
Edward O. Wilson
Writer, director and AI specialist in one – with a long-standing fascination for what technology does to us.
Every piece of content needs a strong story. I combine a writer’s instinct for narrative with hands-on command of generative AI – from the first idea to the final frame. Brands, broadcasters and agencies bring me in when they want AI content that actually has something to say.
Generative AI moves fast: new models land almost every week, and there is no established playbook for creative production yet. I work with the latest models as soon as they are released and build agentic workflows that tailor the prompting to each one. I help creative teams bring AI into their process – or build custom pipelines that fit the way they work.
From inspiring talks and screenings to hands-on workshops: I speak about AI and creativity at industry events such as the Berlinale, re:publica and Seriencamp, as well as for companies and schools. Recent talks include “Visual Worldbuilding with AI”, “AI-Powered Storytelling – Crafting Killer Pitch Papers & Trailers” and “A Short History of AI Video in Advertising”. I also offer one-on-one training, the workshop “Mastering AI Image and Video Generation” and custom formats for teams.
Technology has fascinated me since I was a kid – the early internet was my generation’s great promise of freedom. I studied media and cultural studies at the University of Siegen and went on to work as a research associate at Prof. Jens Schröter’s chair for multimedia systems. One question runs through my work to this day: will technology set us free, or will it be our undoing?
I’m a generalist at heart and like to understand every craft involved in a production. On many projects I also edit and animate myself – working in the cutting room makes me a better writer and director.
A selection of broadcasters and brands I’ve worked with – in no particular order and far from complete.
