I started a new blog on Crowdfunding called artistandaudience.net.
Crowdfunding is not only a new form of collective cooperation by people who pool their money together to support cultural projects - in my opinion it’s also a crucial shift in the relationship of artist & their audiences in general.

The idea of this video installation was to work with recorded tv-material and deconstruct different associations of ideals and idols in the media.

Together with Wim Roegels I created a two screen Video Installation. We took tv images and distorted them to ask which codes are hidden within our media devices. Is their a possibility for the viewer to look behind the images?

The installation was shown at the Medientag 2003 and the Kunstwechsel Art exhibtion.

Moreover, we had the oppurtunity to sow it at the Badstraße, where it was visible within the venue and to the passengers walking by.
